Case Against Youtuber Anvesh:
Anvesh claimed that these officials were involved in promoting betting apps and misused ₹300 crores. The police stated that these claims are baseless and false. According to them, the video was aimed at confusing the public and damaging the image of respected government officials. The complaint was officially lodged by a constable from the Cyber Crime Police Station.
The FIR mentioned that Anvesh’s video was intended to lower the reputation of government institutions and provoke public anger. The police are treating this matter very seriously and are expected to question Anvesh soon. If his allegations are proven to be false, legal action will be taken against him.
This incident has gone viral on social media. Many netizens criticized Anvesh for spreading misinformation and demanded strict action against him. While Anvesh had gained a strong following for his educational content and efforts to raise awareness against betting apps, this recent controversy has affected his public image.
Interestingly, Anvesh had earlier gained support from people, including officials like former police commissioner Sajjanar, for his anti-betting campaigns. However, the current case has surprised many of his followers, who did not expect such accusations from him.
The investigation is ongoing, and the outcome will depend on what the police uncover. For now, the message is clear: social media influencers must act responsibly and avoid spreading unverified information.
