Donald Trump: “US is going to tariff entire world”

Donald Trump: As the U.S prepares for what he has dubbed “Liberation Day” on April 2, US President Donald Trump has said that he will impose tariffs on the entire world. He announced Air Force One. We would impose taxes on “all countries” in the days ahead, he declared.

Up until now, equivalent tariffs on countries that impose import taxes on US goods and services, as well as those with which the U.S has trade deficits. This is been the topic of discussion in Washington. However, as Donald Trump has stated, that is not the case. President Trump told reporters on the presidential plane, “We would start with all countries, so let’s see what happens.” ‘Liberation Day’ is barely 48 hours away, and there are last-minute hopes that President Trump would reduce some of the threatened penalties.

Clarification on Rumours:

President Trump denied reports of retaliatory duties on only 10 or 15 countries, emphasizing that it is not simply a small number of countries that will be impacted. “I haven’t heard any rumour about 15 countries, 10 or 15,” he stated, before stating that “We’ve been talking about all countries – no cutoffs” .

These reciprocal tariffs were expected to affect just over a dozen nations that the Trump administration believes continue to engage in “unfair” trade practices. Scott Bessent, the US Treasury Secretary, had mentioned a group of nations he referred to as the “Dirty 15” in his remarks.

President Trump on the Countries levy Duties on U.S:

Additionally, Donald Trump declared that he would be “kinder,” “generous,” and “nicer” to countries that impose taxes on the United States. “The tariffs will be far more generous than those countries were to us, meaning they will be kinder than those countries were to the United States of America over the decades,” President Trump asserted, but he did not provide any comparable numbers.

“They took advantage of us in a way that no other nation has ever taken advantage of, and we will treat them far better than they treated us. However, it’s still a significant amount of money for the nation,” Donald Trump stated. According to the sources, China has been penalized for the steel and aluminum imports. It is also reported that the tariffs are going to be scheduled on auto imports from April 3rd.
