Distribution to schools:

The state will provide rice to 41,000 government schools and 4,000 social shelter homes in the first phase of the program. Officials decided to include high-quality rice in the midday meal program for children. This rice, rich in nutrients, can improve children’s health.

In his recent speech on rice cards, Minister Nadendla Manohar provided clarification on this issue. The media representative inquired as to when rice distribution would be introduced in AP, noting that it is currently taking place in the nearby state of Telangana. He clarified that the rice plan would be implemented in stages, with students receiving precedence.
