Revanth Sarkaar: In Telangana, 2.24 lakh pensioners have lost their pension due to migration in the last five years. The Revanth Reddy government has taken steps to resolve their problem. The government intends to restore pension to those who lost their pension due to the removal of names of those who did not receive pension for three consecutive months. The Revanth Sarkaar is ready to give a sweet message to those whose pensions have been cancelled in Telangana. SERP has found that 2.24 lakh pensioners have migrated from their hometowns in the state in the last five years. Currently, if they do not take their pension for 3 consecutive months, the authorities are removing their names from the list. The government is planning to restore their pension if such people return to their hometowns. It is reported that an opportunity will be provided to apply online to this extent. An official announcement will be made soon. After that, pension will be given back to all those whose pensions have been cancelled.
Meanwhile, the previous BRS government granted pensions in the name of Aasara. Currently, the Congress government is giving pensions in the name of Cheyutha. According to the latest figures of 2025.. About 42.7 lakh beneficiaries are receiving monthly pension through pension schemes in Telangana. Monthly financial assistance is being provided to the elderly, disabled, single women, AIDS victims, and those in manual trades. Pension of Rs. 2,016 per month is being provided to the elderly and others, and Rs. 4,016 per month to the disabled.
If they come to power, the Congress has promised to provide monthly pension of Rs. 4,000 to the beneficiaries under the Cheyutha scheme and Rs. 6,000 to the disabled. The beneficiaries are eagerly waiting for the increase in this scheme. Measures like the renewal of pension of the recent migrants and the increase in pension will provide financial security to the beneficiaries.
