India Did Not Bow to Pressure: Chandrababu Naidu on Operation Sindoor

Chandrababu Naidu on Operation Sindoor:

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu recently spoke about various national issues. In his interview, he strongly supported Operation Sindoor, calling it a proud achievement for Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the central government.

Chandrababu Naidu on Operation Sindoor:

Naidu said the forces launched the operation after the Pahalgam terror attack and carried it out with precision. He added that terrorists killed 25 innocent people, and the Indian military struck the terror camps effectively without harming civilians.

According to Naidu, the swift response and strategic thinking of PM Modi helped prevent a full-blown war.

“PM Modi named the operation ‘Sindoor’ to honour the emotions of Indian women affected by the attack. It shows how much he connects with the people,” Naidu explained. He credited Modi’s wisdom for bringing the conflict to an end at the right time and preventing further damage.

Operation Sindoor was launched on May 7, 2025. India reportedly destroyed terror bases across Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir. In response, Pakistan launched drones and missiles, but India’s counter-attack was strong and strategic, targeting only military sites.

Naidu dismissed Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s remark that India gave in to US pressure. He said, “India doesn’t need to surrender to anyone. We have our own strategies. PM Modi’s leadership is independent and globally respected.”

Speaking about other issues, Naidu supported the Waqf Amendment Act, stating it could help Muslim communities if used properly. He also reminded that under his earlier leadership, Urdu was declared the second official language in many districts of Andhra Pradesh.

On the topic of One Nation, One Election, Naidu said holding simultaneous elections every five years is better for democracy. “Frequent elections waste time and slow down development. We need to govern effectively without distractions,” he added.
