India Slams Turkey for Backing Pakistan After Pahalgam Attack

India Slams Turkey: India reacted strongly to Turkey’s support for Pakistan after the Pahalgam terror attack. The country asked Turkey to take action against Pakistan for promoting terrorism. Turkey’s actions have damaged India-Turkey relations. Due to this, Indians have called for a boycott of Turkish goods. Pakistan used drones sent by Turkey to attack us. There is a debate as to why Turkey supports Pakistan. Yes, Turkey has done the same in the past.

India has sent a strong message to Turkey, which has been supporting Pakistan in all ways after the developments after the Pahalgam terror attack. India, which has expressed deep dissatisfaction with Turkey, has asked it to take action against Pakistan, which has been nurturing terrorism for decades. Randhir Jaiswal, spokesperson for the East Asia Ministry, commented on this. Speaking at a media conference on Thursday, he said: ‘We hope that Turkey will put pressure on Islamabad to stop the cross-border terrorism that Pakistan has been promoting. We want it to take credible and verifiable action against the terror infrastructure that Pakistan has been nurturing for decades. Relations between countries are based on mutual respect, understanding of each other’s concerns.’ He said. The slogan of boycotting Turkey has already gained momentum in the country.

India Slams Turkey for Backing Pakistan

India-Ankara relations have been strained after Turkey’s support for Pakistan after the Pahalgam terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir. India has made its stance clear in this context. During Operation Sindoor, Turkey not only provided ideological and humanitarian support to Pakistan, but also supplied weapons and drones. India has said that a majority of the 300-400 drones used in Pakistan’s attacks came from Turkey. These drones targeted military installations and civilian settlements. Pakistan attempted to attack a total of 36 areas along the western border, from Leh in Ladakh to Sir Creek in Gujarat.

Erdogan against India?

Turkey has also stood by Pakistan after India’s attacks on terror camps in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. At the same time, Turkey did not condemn the Pahalgam attack, even though the terrorists of the Pakistani terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba, ‘The Resistance Front’, were involved. Turkey has a history of supporting Pakistan’s occupation of Jammu and Kashmir. Turkey sent its warship to the Karachi port during Operation Sindoor. Although it was described as a normal visit, it should be considered a strategic signal.

There are reports that Turkey has sent warplanes along with weapons. However, Turkey has denied them. – It said that the planes came only to refuel. Meanwhile, after the ceasefire agreement, Turkish President Erdogan congratulated Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. He also commented that Pakistan is a proof of true friendship.

After the Indian army’s attack on the terrorist camps, Turkish President Erdogan sent a message of condolences to Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. “I pray to Allah to have mercy on our brothers who lost their lives in these attacks. I express my deepest condolences to the people and government of Pakistan,” he said in the message.

In the wake of the growing opposition and emotions against Turkey in India, Indians have called for a complete boycott of that country’s goods and services. They are also appealing not to travel to Turkey and not to shoot Indian films in Turkey.
