Mamata Banerjee: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has strongly criticized Prime Minister Modi’s government. Especially recently, Modi participated in the BJP rally held in Alipurduar. While he lashed out at the Bengal government there, Mamata responded recently. She also gave an equally strong reply. She immediately challenged whether the state could hold assembly elections. Especially, she said that Operation Sindoor, which India launched in retaliation for the Pahalgam terror attack, is being used for political gain. She said that all women love to receive vermilion from their husbands, and that is the name given to the operation conducted by the Army. But she made strong comments asking why Prime Minister Modi does not give the same vermilion to his wife.

The BJP recently held a rally in Alipurduar, West Bengal. Prime Minister Narendra Modi participated in this. Speaking on the occasion, she said that Operation Sindoor is not yet complete. She also lashed out at the Trinamool Congress government. He alleged that the government is not paying attention to the violence in the state. Also participating in the same meeting, BJP state president and Union Minister Sukanta Majumdar said that they will launch Operation Bengal and merge the Trinamool Congress Party with the Bay of Bengal in the next assembly elections. He also said that the people of the state want a change of government.

Mamata Banerjee Reacts

However, the Chief Minister of the state, Mamata Banerjee, has recently reacted to these comments. She expressed her anger at Prime Minister Modi and other BJP leaders. Also she said that the entire country has expressed deep shock over the Pahalgam incident. She said that we have fought against terrorism with Operation Sindoor. She said that it is very sad that Prime Minister Modi has spoken like this at a time when all-party representatives are traveling abroad to convey the message that we are all one and will not tolerate terrorism. And also questioned the BJP government as to whether it can hold assembly elections in the state at this time.

He reminded that Modi used to call himself a chaiwala . Later, he also called himself a guard. Now, he has started selling sindoor. He said that sindoor is a source of pride for women and every woman takes sindoor from her husband. That is why he said that sindoor should not be sold like this. He also made strong comments about why Modi does not apply sindoor to his wife. While Mamata Banerjee made comments at this level, all these are currently going viral.
