DGMO Crucial talks: On Monday, May 12, at 2:30 pm, the Director Generals of Military Operations (DGMO), Lieutenant General Rajiv Ghai, Air Marshal AK Bharti, and Vice Admiral AN Pramod, will have a news conference. The briefing will happen a few hours after the India-Pakistan DGMOs are expected to meet.
This comes after India and Pakistan established a “bilateral understanding” on May 10 to stop both sides from launching military operations. The two nations’ DMGOs have agreed to “further speak on the 12th of May…at 1200 hours to discuss the modalities that will enable the longevity of this understanding,” according to Lieutenant General Rajiv Ghai’s statement on Sunday. Following to it, India has accused Pakistan of violating the “Bilateral understanding.”
