Congress leader Sonia Gandhi has been admitted to the Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in Delhi, on February 20,2025, Thursday.
Sources state that Sonia Gandhi is facing an abdomen issue. According to the reports, the doctors assure that there’s no major concern and she is expected to be fine soon.
While the internet is worried for the Rajya Sabha MP, reports suggests she is fine and has confirmed that there is nothing to worry and she is expected to be discharged by 21st February, Friday.
In September 2023, Sonia Gandhi was admitted in the same Hospital after having fever-like symptoms. She has had several hospital visits before this.
As the news of her Hospitalization circulated, several Congress leaders and party members have expressed their well wishes for the leader.
Dr Ajay Swaroop, chairman of the board of Mangament at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital has assured that there’s no major concern. Sonia Gandhi is now under the care of Dr Samiran Nundy, a leading specialist in gastroenterology.

She became the party’s head in 1998, seven years after her husband, former Indian Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi, was assassinated. She held the position for twenty-two years, until 2017.
