TDP Cycle Yatra 2025: The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) started its 2025 Cycle Yatra from an important and emotional place—Sugali Mitta in Peddireddy Kota, Chittoor district. This location had once seen an unfortunate incident in 2023 when TDP workers were insulted by YSRCP followers. Now, the same place has become a symbol of pride and honor.

TDP Cycle Yatra 2025:

In 2023, when TDP members were doing a cycle rally from Srikakulam to Kuppam, they faced attacks near Punganur. YSRCP supporters, led by a man named Chengalapuram Suri, stopped them. He tore down TDP yellow flags and insulted the workers. He even said, “This is Peddireddy’s area. No flag other than YSRCP’s should be seen here.”

After that, the political situation changed. In the latest elections, YSRCP lost power. TDP leaders and workers now feel stronger and more respected.

As part of their preparation for the Mahanadu event in Kadapa, TDP workers from Srikakulam started their cycle yatra again on Monday, May 26, 2025. This time, they proudly began their journey from the same Sugali Mitta where they had been disrespected two years ago.

Local TDP leaders gave them a grand welcome. They offered garlands, shawls, and good wishes. The yellow flags that were once torn down were now flying high with pride. This shows the change in people’s support and the political mood in the area.

The TDP Cycle Yatra is not just a political event—it is a journey of respect, courage, and comeback. It sends a strong message that past insults can turn into future victories with patience and unity.

This yatra is expected to inspire many TDP supporters across Andhra Pradesh. It also reflects the party’s growing confidence as it moves forward toward Mahanadu 2025.
