Telangana Formation Day: Today is Telangana’s eleventh Foundation Day. On June 2, 2014, Telangana was formally established as the youngest state in India. Every year, residents of the state mark this milestone by planning and participating in a variety of activities that honor the hardship and sacrifices that brought about its creation. On June 2, there will be traffic restrictions in the surrounding areas from 6:00 AM to 1:00 PM due to the events at Parade Ground and Gun Park in Nampally. In this context several famous personalities, mostly the political leaders send their greetings on this auspicious day. From PM Narendra Modi, President Draupadi Murmuru the list goes on.
