TTD Goshala Tragedy: Tension Sparks After Cow Deaths

TTD Goshala Tragedy: Former TTD Chairman Bhumana Karunakar Reddy stirred controversy by alleging mismanagement and exposing what he called “cow politics” at the TTD goshala. In response, the TTD promptly clarified that no cows had died and took legal action by filing a case against Bhumana. The issue quickly escalated as the TDP joined the fray, challenging Bhumana to visit the goshala in person at 10 AM on Thursday and inviting the public to witness the truth live.

Karunakar Reddy accepted the challenge, and as the scheduled time approached, tensions in Tirupati soared. The confrontation over the goshala triggered a wave of commotion, turning the cow shelter dispute into a high-voltage political flashpoint.

High Tension In TTD:

Tensions ran high since morning as Andhra Pradesh politics heated up around the Tirumala Goshala. The situation turned into a battle of wits, with leaders exchanging challenges and counter-challenges. As part of the developments, MLAs from coalition parties reached the goshala by Thursday morning, ready to wait for Bhumana Karunakar Reddy.

Bhumana Karunakar Protest:

Meanwhile, Bhumana Karunakar Reddy was preparing to head to the goshala with full force. Accompanied by MP Gurumurthy, he set out for a rally but was stopped by the police. Authorities advised him not to proceed with a large group of leaders and activists, citing concerns over public order. Instead, they suggested he go with his security detail.

This led to a scuffle between the police and YSRCP activists. In protest against the police’s actions, Bhumana Karunakar Reddy lay down on the road, sparking dramatic scenes. The situation grew more intense as former Minister Roja and Deputy Chief Minister Narayana Swamy arrived at the spot to support him, further fueling the high-tension atmosphere.

She also recalled that during the previous administration, whenever Jaganmohan Reddy attended any program, TDP leaders were often placed under house arrest, with police personnel deployed outside their residences.
