India-Pak Tensions: When the earthquake struck Turkey, India provided significant assistance to the country. However, Turkey seemingly forgot this support and allied itself with Pakistan during Operation Sindoor, even sending drones to attack India. This is already well-known. In response, India has imposed a ban on Turkish goods. At this time, other troubling actions by Turkey are coming to light, including allegations that it not only sent drones but also deployed soldiers to assist Pakistan.
When the earthquake hit Turkey, it was India that helped the country. Our country responded first and provided relief measures. It helped in every way. But Turkey, forgetting all this, spat venom on India. During Operation Sindoor, it joined hands with Pakistan, and supported its neighbor. It provided more than 350 drones to Pakistan to attack India. While everyone already knew all this. India imposed a ban on imports from Turkey. At this time, more atrocities committed by that country came to light. It seems that not only drones but also soldiers were sent to Pakistan to incite an attack on our country.
Relations between Pakistan and Turkey have increased significantly in recent times. They are standing by each other, especially in the defense sector. After the Pahalgam terror attack, when India launched Operation Sindoor against its neighbor, Pakistan also retaliated. In the process, it attacked with drones on a large scale. Pakistan shot down about 300 to 400 drones. Later, forensic experts identified the fragments and examined them. Only then did they know that all of them were “ASIS Guard Sonagar” drones from Turkey.
When the Indian Army officially announced this, all Indians were alerted. Traders in Pune, in particular, have banned fruits coming from Turkey. Apples are not being imported at all. Experts estimate that this could result in a loss of Rs 1,200 crore to Rs 1,500 crore to the country. At the same time, some other misadventures by Turkey are coming to light. Turkey, which sent drones to Pakistan during Operation Sindoor, is widely reported to have sent its military personnel to Islamabad to educate them on their use.
Turkish President Erdogan has had a strong hatred for India from the beginning. He has directly stated this on many occasions. After the Pahalgam terror attack, the entire world condemned the acts of terrorists. But the Turkish President did not respond at all. Erdogan did not even express sympathy for the death of innocent tourists. He did not even condemn the act of terrorism. Leaving all this aside, Erdogan met Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, standing in support of his cousin country, and assured them of help.
