PM Modi Met Tulsi Gabbard: Prime Minister Narendra Modi met America’s Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Tulsi Gabbard in the national capital on Monday evening. On this occasion, Prime Minister Modi presented her with a Kalash filled with holy water (Ganga jal) brought from the recently concluded Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj. Tulsi Gabbard’s India Visit
Gabbard has arrived in India as part of a visit to several countries. Her Asia tour will conclude with a speech at the Raisina Dialogue in Delhi on March 18, for which she was invited by the Prime Minister. The 10th edition of the Raisina Dialogue is being organized by the Ministry of External Affairs and the Observer Research Foundation (ORF).
PM Modi gifted Tulsi Gabbard with sacred Maha Kumbh water, symbolizing India’s cultural heritage. Their meeting emphasized strengthening India-US ties, addressing strategic partnerships, and discussing anti-India activities abroad.
After the meeting, PM Modi described Tulsi Gabbard as a strong supporter of India-US friendship. At the same time, Gabbard called the meeting with PM Modi an honor. She expressed her commitment to strengthen bilateral relations. Tulsi Gabbard presented a garland to PM Modi.
Also met Defense Minister Rajnath Singh
Gabbard also met Defense Minister Rajnath Singh before Prime Minister Modi. During this, Rajnath Singh expressed concern over anti-India activities in the US by the banned Khalistani organization ‘Sikhs for Justice’ (SFJ). According to sources, India shared its concerns and urged the US National Intelligence Director to take strict action against this illegal organization. Along with this, aspects of defence cooperation and intelligence sharing between the two countries were also discussed.
