Priya Saroj: On June 8, in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, cricketer Rinku Singh and Samajwadi Party MP Priya Saroj are scheduled to be engaged. Family members and close friends will be present during their ring ceremony, which will be held at a posh hotel. The Roka ceremony took place in January of this year after Priya’s father, Tufani Saroj, an SP MLA from Kerakat, had already affirmed their alliance.

Who is Priya Saroj?
Priya Saroj is a lawyer and politician who was born in Varanasi’s Karkhiyaon hamlet on November 23, 1998. She graduated with a degree in arts from Delhi University after completing her education at the Air Force Golden Jubilee Institute in New Delhi. She subsequently attended Amity University in Noida to obtain a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree. Last year, Priya, who is 25 years old and an ardent member of the Samajwadi Party, was elected to the Lok Sabha from Machhlishahr in the Jaunpur district. As a result, she was elected to the Lok Sabha as the second youngest candidate. By a margin of 35850 votes, she had defeated Bholanath Saroj, the head of the BJP.

Priya Saroj Family Background:

Tufani Saroj, her father, is a Samajwadi Party member and politician as well. He is currently an MLA from the Kerakat constituency and has served as an MP three times. Priya made her first public appearance during the 2022 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, campaigning for her father. According to reports, her friend’s father, a former cricket player, introduced Rinku and Priya to one another. Their wedding is reportedly scheduled for November 18 at the Taj Hotel in Varanasi.

Rinku Singh Performance:
In August 2023, Indian cricketer Rinku Singh made his debut for his country. He bowls off-spin infrequently and bats in the middle order with a left hand. Rinku represents Uttar Pradesh in domestic cricket and the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
