Will America step in if Indo-Pak War intensifies?
India and Pakistan are fighting with each other at the moment. It all started when terrorists from Pakistan attacked tourists in Kashmir’s Pehalgam in April. India has retaliated to the terror attack that took 30 lives at left many more injured. The Indian Army counterattacked and instigated Operation Sindoor a few days back. The target was to identify terrorist bases and eliminate them. Now, with the Pakistani army trying to reciprocate violently, it looks like war is inevitable. Amid tensions between India and Pakistan, one question that frequently arises in everyone’s mind is where America stands. Will America step in if Indo-Pak War intensifies?
Although America’s Vice-President JD Vance announced that the clash between India and Pakistan is not their business and they would stay out of the war, all eyes are on the world’s superpower.
War and America are synonymous with each other. No other country in the world has witnessed wars that closely as Washington did. Ever since World War 2, the US has actively engaged in numerous military operations across the globe. So its natural that the curiosity is built on America’s position in the present India-Pakistan conflict.
Pakistan has been America’s ally since 1947.When India had Russia’s back in all these days, America extended all sorts of support and stood with Pakistan. While some people expect Trump to take Pakistan side if the situation becomes haywire, some feel it will turn to India if the situation demands.
Unlike other US Presidents, Donald Trump has always supported Narendra Modi-led India openly. Will Donald Trump support India, or will the US, as usual, go with its longtime ally Pakistan? However, things changed in recent times and India emerged powerful on the global picture.
Will Trump acknowledge India’s dominance and remain in close relation, or go with the US permanent ally? Or, as JD Vance said, will they remain out of this war?
