“1000 Babies” is a spine-chilling psychological thriller directed by Najeem Koya. It is streaming on Disney+ Hotstar. The series revolves around a woman. Set in Kerala, it revolves around Sarah Ouseph (Neena Gupta), an elderly woman with a dark and mysterious secret. Her confession to her son Bibin (Sanju Sivaram) leads to many intuitions.
Inspector Aji Kurian (Rahman) investigates a series of deaths linked to Sarah’s past. The series boasts strong performances, especially by Gupta and Rahman, and impressive cinematography by Faiz Siddik. However, it falters with clichéd dialogues and unnecessary subplots in the latter half. Despite its flaws, “1000 Babies” is a compelling watch that keeps viewers on edge.
The film begins mysteriously and takes unexpected chilling turns that keep the audience engaged with the story. The cast does their part well to take the story to new phases. The backgorund music did its part in making the story more intense.
