Alice In Borderland 3 Review: The third season of Alice in Borderland has finally arrived, bringing in fans to binge the newest installment to Netflix’s fantasy survival thriller. The bar was raised high after the first two seasons set such high expectations. The new season has thus far divided audiences, leaving critics with mixed reviews across social media.
One of the most highlighting elements of Season 3 is the strong character auras of Arisu and Usagi. Their journey is explored with emotional weight and interesting plot twists that keep the audience engaged until the end. The chemistry between the two leads is strong enough to make people interested in a world of survival games. Also one other thing is the background score and music, which goes well with the tension and enhances emotional timings. These points worked together so that Alice in Borderland continues to be a series full of experiments.
However, this season struggles to bring back what the previous seasons had, and several fans were heavily disappointed by the new characters, who don’t likely connected well with fans at an emotional spirit. Unlike the other two seasons, where characters had well-written story, these new characters failed, so it is hard to feel invested in their plot-line. Some episodes also suffer from slow runtime due to lengthy scenes, where it simply drags on. The games, which were once the show’s strongest feature, feel boring and lack inspiration this time around, leaving fans craving more originality or excitement.
Despite its downsides, Alice in Borderland 3 still has enough charm to captivate its audience, with its lead roles, its music, and a conclusion that even has a few twists to keep you entertained, as fans are already posting edits, memes, and images online to prove it is still generating discussion. While this may not be the best season, in the end, it is worth it.
