Star Kids and their debut films have been competing with many big films since the entry of Ananya Panday to Khushi Kapoor. Another star kid, Rasha Tadani, The daughter of Raveena Tandon made her debut with the film ‘Azaad’ alongside debut actor Aaman Devgn, The nephew of Ajay Devgn. While the other star kids have been busy with dating rumors and strategical films etc. The Real Star kids, Rasha and Aaman define the star kids with their actual talent and skills. Let’s have a look at the unbiased review of Azaad.

Story:

Azaad is a film that revolves around the pre-independence era where discrimination was a huge issue. The upper-class girl meets the lower-class boy, and they slowly fell in love. With the coming challenges to face in those days, The story unfolds with a series of twists and turns.

The movie starts with a scene that shows Goving (Aaman) and his admiration towards Vikram Singh’s (Ajay Devgn) black horse named ‘Azaad’. While the horse, Azaad doesn’t care about anyone or let anyone near him except the owner. Govind meets Janaki (Rasha), The daughter of landlord Rai Bahadu (Piyush Mishra). He fell in love with her and the parallel track goes with Tej Bahadur (Mohit Malik), the brother of Janaki and Kesar (Diana Penty). Azaad Review:

The film moves forward at a slow pace like many films and this has been a minus point for the debut of these star kids. While the filmmaker did not have the urge to take the story forward in time. But he was so relaxed and did not bother to put enough story in the film to make it interesting for a while. Not just the movie backdrop, but the making of the film was also from the era of pre-independence, very slow and absolutely effortless.

The entire show stealer is the Horse, Azaad. However, there was no scope left for the actors to perform. Referring to the filmmaker’s idea and work, The horse has become the centre of attraction.

To this story, The debutant actors Rasha and Aaman tried their best to leave a mark with their astonishing performance despite not having the scope left by the director to perform. These talents deserve better scripts and better filmmakers. Only if there is a little bit of story and a better screenplay, Rasha and Aaman would have been able to grab SLB projects in their next projects.

Positives:

Horse Azaad presence
Rasha and Aaman
Ajay Devgn
Music

Negatives:

Poor Screenplay
Slow pace

Azaad Rating: 1.5/5
