Shahid Kapoor has been the crush of girls for over two decades and his charm still dominates the audience’s hearts. His presence in loverboy roles still makes the film do well at the box office. His recent films Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya have done a great job at the box office with a unique concept. Now Shahid is exploring new genres to challenge himself. And on the other side, Pooja Hegde has been struggling to gain one proper hit for the last few years.

Story:

A skilled but defiant police officer (Shahid Kapoor) investigates a major case. During the investigation, the officer discovers layers of lies and betrayal. On a parallel line, an attractive love track of Shahid Kapoor and Pooja Hegde steals the show.

Deva Review:

Deva is an action thriller marking the first collab of Shahid Kapoor and Rosshan Andrrews. After Kabir Singh, This is the second aggressive avatar of Shahid Kapoor that would remain as a mark set by himself. The aggressive cop roles like Singham played by Ajay Devgn made ways to create a multiverse. But how this role of Shahid is going to end up in the industry is a question.

Deva is 2 hours 36 minutes long film and is getting positive reviews all over. But how accurate are they? Action thrillers are not everyone’s go-to genre when they want to watch a movie. The movie goes on as described ‘a rollercoaster ride packed with intensity, style, and raw emotions.

The action sequences in the film are attractive and watchable without getting bored. The love track of Shahid and Pooja Hegde are on track. During the trailer launch event, the actor called his role in Deva the “most challenging one”. He said, “This is the most complex character I’ve played. I’ve done challenging roles before, but Deva made me question whether I was capable of pulling this off.” Apart from Shahid and Pooja, stars like Pavail Gulati, Kubbra Sait, and many others play pivotal roles in the film.
