Jatadhara Twitter Review: In Jatadhara, the supernatural horror film returning Bollywood star Sudheer Babu with a nice touch of ancient myth and modern horror, director Kalyan Venkat in his feature film debut after a prominent journey as short filmmaker and editor of Rakshasa Kavyam casts the movie under the production of Prerna Arora, Umesh Kumar Bansal, Shivin Narang, and Aruna Agarwal whose themes dive into the eerie Lanka Bindelu and Pishacha Bandhanam making way for a thrilling cinematic ride.
Jatadhara thus emerges as a blend of Indian mythology meeting classic horror style. But this film does not carry the day-to-day scares of horror flicks but finds its fear in spiritual possession, sacred rituals, and karmic forces. A ghost hunter by the name of Sudheer Babu faces unseen evils, while Sonakshi Sinha makes a smashing entry as Dhana Pishachini, that enigmatic mythical figure with a tragic backstory. Audiences have praised her for changing into a different person for the role with a lot of intensity; many have called it “her most surprising role yet.”
The buzz surrounding the film can be seen on Twitter. Some called Jatadhara “refreshing in its take on desi horror,” while others thought it leaned toward the complex end with respect to the mythological references. One commented, “The story grips you till the end, and the background score gives goosebumps.” One user also mentioned, “Sudheer Babu finally got a role that matches his intensity.” Likewise, despite very limited promotions, the word-of-mouth generated by the film is strong, with audiences praising its eerie sound design and deep storytelling.

Although Jatadhara probably is not going to be for those who want mass entertainment, it is certainly gaining attention for its audacious ideas, haunting visuals, and atmospheric tension. For Sudheer Babu, it indeed is the much-anticipated step to reestablishment, while for Tollywood, yet another experiment to wed mythology with modern-age fear-a combination the audience seems all set for.
