Bollywood has been always a game-changer in the history of Indian Cinema for ages. The recent changes in global recognition were bagged by Tollywood and most probably the South Cinema has brought a major change. Although Bollywood has always taken the first step to normalise many things from love marriage to living in a relationship. But these stories often do not end up attracting the audience. One such film is Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video. Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video Review.
Set In 1997 in Rishikesh, Vidya( Tripti Dimri) is a doctor. She calls off her arranged marriage and somehow convinces her parents to let her marry her childhood boyfriend, Vicky (Rajkumar Rao) who is a mehendi artist. For their honeymoon, the couple visit Goa, where Vicky convinces Vidya to record their first night together. After they return, they insert a disc containing the video into their CD player and fall asleep while watching the video. One night, thieves enter and most valuables are stolen, including the CD player and the family’s ancestral sword.
The story is a romantic comic film that revolves around the life of a couple from 1990s. The film goes on the note portraying the life during 1990s exactly. The comic timing was good but not suitable for everyone. The couple from 1990s, Tripti and Rajkumar gave their best to portray the roles they were given.
The story failed to attract a wide range of audience and Raj Kumar rao’s performance was well. As always, Tripti Dimri was cast in this film for just glamour show. The film did a little better than Jigra at the box office collections and probably for the romantic scenes.
