Anupama Parameswaran & Love Today fame Pratheep Raganathan has joined hands with the director Ashwath Marimuthu for the upcoming Tamil movie titled Dragon.

The movie title is changed to ‘ The Return Of Dragon’ in Telugu.

About The Film:
Based on a script he co-wrote with Pradeep Ranganathan, Ashwath Marimuthu is the writer and director of the upcoming coming-of-age comedic drama film Dragon in Tamil, which is being produced by AGS Entertainment. In addition to Anupama Parameswaran, Kayadu Lohar, George Maryan, Indumathy Manikandan, K. S. Ravikumar, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mysskin, VJ Siddhu, and Harshath Khan, Pradeep plays the film’s title character.

Since this is the first time that Pradeep and Ashwath have worked together, the movie was first announced in April 2024 under the provisional title #PradeepAshwathCombo. A few days later, the official title was revealed. In Chennai, principal photography started the next month. Leon James created the film’s music, Niketh Bommi handled the photography, and Pradeep E. Ragav edited it.

The team kept on board collaborators from their earlier works, such as publicity designer Kabilan Chelliah, editor Pradeep E. Ragav, and composer Leon James; the production company selected S. M. The film’s theatrical trailer got released on Monday Evening.
The trailer showcases the story of a young, aimless college student, played by Pradeep. The trailer also features two young girls, one played by Anupama Parameswaran and the other by Kayadu Lohar.
