Shruti Haasan who played a key role in Salaar has not taken up any major Telugu films after that. Although she made a brief appearance in a special song in Hi Nanna, her absence in full length Telugu roles has become clear. She also stepped out from Adivi Sesh film Dacoit. Meanwhile she is still active in Tamil and Hindi projects but her Telugu fans are hoping to see her return soon.
Samantha who was once one of the most popular heroines in Tollywood has also stepped away from Telugu films after Kushi. She is now working more on digital platforms and Bollywood projects like Citadel and Rakht Brahmand. Her decision to shift her focus has disappointed many Telugu movie lovers who are eagerly waiting for her comeback. The only Telugu film she has signed is Maa Inti Bangaram.
