Chiranjeevi Mourns Meher Ramesh’s Sister’s Demise

Meher Ramesh’s Sister: Tollywood director Meher Ramesh is facing a personal tragedy as his sister Madasu Satyavathi passed away. She had been suffering from a severe illness for some time and was undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Hyderabad. Unfortunately she passed away recently leaving her family in deep sorrow.


Meher Ramesh known for his strong industry connections is heartbroken over this loss. Despite his ups and downs in cinema, he has always maintained good relationships with top actors and filmmakers.

Meher Ramesh’s Sister: Megastar Chiranjeevi expressed deep sorrow over Satyavathi’s demise. He stated that he considers Meher Ramesh as his younger brother and shared his heartfelt condolences. Chiranjeevi wrote, “The passing of Meher Ramesh’s sister Madasu Satyavathi is heartbreaking. My deepest sympathies to my brother Meher Ramesh and his family. May her soul rest in peace.”


Power Star Pawan Kalyan also reacted emotionally to the news. He reminisced about his childhood recalling how Meher Ramesh’s family lived in Machavaram, Vijayawada. He fondly remembered spending summer vacations at their house. Expressing his grief, Pawan Kalyan posted on social media that he prays for Satyavathi’s soul to rest in peace and extended his condolences to Meher Ramesh’s family.

The Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister’s office also shared a message expressing condolences, stating, “The demise of director Meher Ramesh’s sister Madasu Satyavathi, is deeply saddening. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.”

Born in Vijayawada, Meher Ramesh completed his early education in Machavaram. His father worked as a police inspector, and Ramesh pursued a diploma in Civil Engineering from Gudlavalleru, near Gudivada. Before becoming a director, he acted in a small role in the movie Bobby.

His directorial career began with the Kannada film Veera Kannadiga (2004), which was released as Andhrawala in Telugu. He later directed Ajay (2006), a remake of Mahesh Babu’s Okkadu, which was a super hit in Kannada. However his Telugu films including Kantri, Shakti, Shadow and Bholaa Shankar, did not perform well.
