Chiyaan Vikram is gearing up for the releases of his highly awaited  Tamil-language action thriller film Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 2 . Check out for the new poster and film’s much anticipated release date here .

Following the overwhelming triumph of Thangalaan, all eyes are on Chiyaan Vikram, who is known for his outstanding transformation and natural performance as he is back with another stellar action thriller.  Vikram’s upcoming release takes an unexpected turn, as the sequel will be launched before the prequel has even begun production.

Veera Dheera Sooran 2’s early glances have already sparked fans’ excitement, and it appears the makers have finally set a release date for the Chiyaan Vikram starrer. As per recent reports, the film has been set to release on January 30, 2025. Furthermore, the film’s censorship procedure is expected to take place soon.

The action thriller film is written and helmed by S. U. Arun Kumar. It is produced by Riya Shibu under HR Pictures. The film stars Vikram in the titular role, alongside S. J. Suryah, Suraj Venjaramoodu (in his Tamil debut), Dushara Vijayan and Siddique. Its prequel, Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 1, has yet to begin production.

The film was officially announced in October 2023 under the tentative title Chiyaan 62, as it is the 62nd film for Vikram, known popularly as Chiyaan, as the lead actor, and the official title was announced in April 2024. Principal photography began the same month. The film will have music composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar, cinematography handled by Theni Eswar and editing by Prasanna GK.

Veera Dheera Sooran Part 2 is an action-packedflick starring Chiyaan Vikram as Kaali, a provision store owner who is also a loving family man but has a dark side is scheduled to release in theatres in January 2025 in in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi.
