Diwali South Releases : From Sivakarthikeyan’s Amaran to Kannada superhero film Bagheera set to entertain audiences .

Indian Film Industry braces for versatile film from different releases on Diwali. In recent years, film releases have become more frequently scheduled on major festivals like as Sankranti, Dussehra, Diwali and Christmas to take advantage of people’s desire to spend time with family. It is said that films released around festivals can see a 20–30% increase in box office collections.

Here’s the list of Diwali South Releases

1. Amaran

Sivakarthikeyan is gearing up for the release biographical action war film helmed by Rajkumar Periasamy and bankrolled by Raaj Kamal Films International, and Sony Pictures Films India. The film stars Sivakarthikeyan portraying the role of Major Mukund Varadarajan, alongside Sai Pallavi.

The film is adapted from the book series India’s Most Fearless: True Stories of Modern Millitary by Shiv Aroor and Rahul Singh, which is based on Mukund Varadarajan.

2. Bagheera

Hombale Film’s, who delivered blockbuster Pan India hit like K.G.F franchise, Kantara and Salaar is back with another action film, directed by Suri . The upcoming superhero film Bagheera stars Sriimurali and Rukmini Vasanth in lead roles. When society turns into a jungle, just one predator cries out for justice.

3. Lucky Bhaskar

Dulquer Salmaan’s  Lucky Bhaskar, directed by Venky Atluri, also releasing in five languages. Lucky Baskhar is scheduled to release worldwide on 31 October 2024, on the occasion of Diwali. The film revolves the journey of an ordinary middle class married man, Bhaskar and his triumphs.

4. KA

Kiran Abbavaram’s much awaited pan-India movie KA is all set to hit the theaters worldwide on Diwali in multiple languages.

5 . Zebra

Satyadev is back with another standalone film Zebra , a crime drama movie helmed by Eashvar Karthic and bankrolled by SN Reddy, Bala Sundaram and Dinesh Sundaram.
