Tollywood Biggest Multi Starrer: Veteran Telugu director K. Raghavendra Rao once had a big dream for his 100th film. He planned a massive multistarrer movie called Triveni Sangamam, featuring three of the biggest stars in Telugu cinema—Chiranjeevi, Venkatesh, and Nagarjuna.

Raghavendra Rao is known for directing many blockbuster movies and working with top actors like NTR, Sobhan Babu, Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna, and Nagarjuna. He also introduced several new talents, including Mahesh Babu and Allu Arjun. For his milestone 100th film, he wanted to create something unforgettable.

The idea behind Triveni Sangamam was to bring together three powerful actors in one film, just like the joining of three rivers—hence the name. Producers Allu Aravind and Ashwini Dutt were ready to back the project, and all three stars had reportedly agreed to be a part of it.

However, things didn’t go as planned. Producer Ashwini Dutt raised a valid concern—managing three big heroes in one movie could lead to issues. Each actor might expect equal screen time, strong roles, songs, or action scenes. If one felt sidelined, it could create conflict. This could risk the harmony on set and affect the film’s outcome.

After careful thought, Raghavendra Rao decided to drop the project to avoid any complications. Instead, he made Gangotri as his 100th film, which turned out to be a successful launch for Allu Arjun.

Even though Triveni Sangamam never became a reality, fans still talk about it. The idea of seeing Chiranjeevi, Venkatesh, and Nagarjuna together in one film was exciting. It could have been a landmark moment in Tollywood history.
