Bison Movie: Dhruv Vikram is now moving to his next major project entitled Bison. Leading the film is Anupama Parameswaran with other Malayalam actors Rajisha Vijayan and veteran actor Lal portraying key roles. The tentative release date for the project is during Diwali with the crew recently releasing stills of Anupama and Rajisha which are reportedly gathering media interest.
There were also rumors that Bison was a story about celebrated kabaddhi player Manathi Ganesan, however, Mari Selvaraj stated in an interview that the project is not a biography, but rather a story referencing kabaddi, but not centered on any one player’s life. Ezil Arasan is the DoP, while its production is with Neelam Productions supported by Pa. Ranjith.
Mari Selvaraj is making fast headlines with another “waited-on” project with Dhanush. Even Dhanush stated it was another indicator of one of the most valuable projects in this career. The new co-produced film is by Zee Studios and Dhanush’s Wunderbar Films, and fans are ready to here further details on Dhanush’s character and the story again.
The last film Dhruv Vikram made an appearance in was Mahaan, directed by Karthik Subbaraj, which starred his dad, actor Vikram, alongside him. Mahaan was produced by Seven Screen Studio and was a multi-starrer with other actors like Simran, Vani Bhojan, and Sananth. The film, which had music by Santhosh Narayanan, choreography by M. Sherif, and cinematography by Shreyaas Krishna, ended up becoming a hit both critically and commercially. Dhruv also sang a song in Mahaan, demonstrating his talent.
In his new project Bison, Dhruv Vikram will work with an interesting director and a talented cast, mixing sports drama with an emotional element. The film, which is receiving a lot of pre-release buzz, will surely be one of the most talked-about Diwali releases.
