Samantha Ruth Prabhu known for her honesty and strength once opened up about her early struggles and how they shaped her career. During an appearance on Koffee With Karan Season 7, she revealed that acting wasn’t something she had planned for. Instead life pushed her into the film industry due to a personal crisis.

In a conversation with host Karan Johar, Samantha shared that she never dreamed of becoming an actress. She had different plans for her future, but her family’s financial situation changed everything. She recalled a difficult moment when her father told her that he couldn’t help pay off her education loans. This moment became a turning point in her life.

“It wasn’t my choice,” Samantha admitted on the show. “We didn’t have enough money for my studies, but I’m really glad. When my father said, ‘No, I can’t pay your loans,’ it changed my life.” Despite the pain, she found strength in the situation and used it as motivation to build a successful career in films.

Samantha is admired not only for her acting skills but also for her courage and resilience. At the teaser launch of her upcoming web series Citadel: Honey Bunny, she was asked how she deals with constant challenges. She openly said, “I do give up. I can’t say I don’t. But that’s not where the story ends. I climb back up.”

On the work front, Samantha was last seen alongside Varun Dhawan in Citadel: Honey Bunny which is a thrilling action series. The film is also produced by Samantha. The film is in pre production and is expected to begin filming soon. Samantha’s return to films after a hiatus has also been announced with “Maa Inti Bangaram” being one of her upcoming projects.
