India Doesn’t Need to Go to War with Pakistan: Vijay Deverakonda at Retro Event

Vijay Deverakonda at Retro Event : Vijay Deverakonda recently attended the pre release event of the Tamil movie Retro in Hyderabad. The film stars Kollywood superstar Suriya and Pooja Hegde and is directed by Karthik Subbaraj. The event was a grand celebration with the entire cast and crew present.

Vijay Deverakonda at Retro Event:

During his speech, Vijay Deverakonda shared his admiration for Suriya. He said, “Suriya Anna has always been one of my favorite actors. His performances often left me shocked. His movies are an inspiration, and I want to act like him and do the kind of movies he does. Suriya S/o Krishnan is my most favorite Suriya Anna movie and I just love the Chanchala song. Retro should become a big hit.”

Vijay’s speech took a powerful turn when he spoke about the recent Pahalgam terror attack. He expressed his strong feelings about terrorism and Pakistan’s involvement. Vijay said,” These terrorists lack brains, and they need to be educated. Pakistan lacks basic infrastructure and can’t even handle its own issues within the country and still has the audacity to attack India for Kashmir. I just want to reiterate that Kashmir belongs to India and Kashmiris are an integral part of our country.”

He further added, “As Indians, we need to be human and foster friendship. I strongly feel that India doesn’t even need to go to war with Pakistan. The Pakistanis will be fed up with their government and revolt someday.”

The movie Retro is set to release on May 1, 2025, with Santhosh Narayanan composing the music. The Telugu version is being released by Tollywood producer Naga Vamsi.

Meanwhile, Vijay Deverakonda will soon be seen in his next big project Kingdom, a thrilling film directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri. Produced under Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, Kingdom is expected to showcase Vijay in a powerful

new avatar.
