Filming has started on Jailer 2, the follow-up to the popular film Jailer. Director Nelson Dilipkumar has begun filming scenes with other actors in the first schedule, however, superstar Rajinikanth has not yet joined the shoot.

By the last week of March, the first schedule should be completed, at which point the team will relocate to Kerala. Rajinikanth will probably participate in the filming either later on or during the Kerala schedule.

Kannada icon Shiva Rajkumar and Malayalam superstar Mohanlal made cameos in the first installment. According to reports, Nelson Dilipkumar intends to cast a Telugu actor in a pivotal part in Jailer 2. Depending on their availability, there are rumors that the filmmaker is thinking of either Nandamuri Balakrishna or NTR.

Jailer Cast and Crew:
The makers of this film haven’t released the entire cast and crew. Jailer 2 is much hyped and has high expectations, Apart from Jailer 2, coolie is also about to be released. Once again, Anirudh will score the music for this film.

In the mean time, Rajinikanth is presently working with Lokesh Kanagaraj in coolie. This is an action thriller film produced by Sun Pictures. The release date is yet to be announced. In coolie apart from Rajinikanth, Nagarjuna, Soubin Shahir, Shruti Haasan, Sathyaraj, and others are playing the prominent roles.

Jailer OTT Platform:
Jailer, directed by filmmaker Nelson Dilipkumar and starring Rajinikanth in the lead role, is now available on SunNXT and Prime Video. In this action thriller, apart from Rajinikanth, Ramya Krishnan, Vinayak, Yogi Babu, Vasanth Ravi, Tamannah Bhatia, Redin Kingsley, Sunil, and others played the lead roles in the film.
