Jana Nayagan: Is This Vijay’s Last Scene? Teaser Buzz Sparks Speculation

Jana Nayagan: South Superstar Vijay Thalapathy is currently completing the schedule of his last film, ‘Jana Nayagan,’ directed by H. Vinot. The actor has confirmed that this will be his last project in the film industry before actively entering politics. Now, new information has come to light about this film. It is reported that Vijay is expected to complete work on the upcoming film soon.

According to reports, Vijay is expected to complete his part for ‘Jana Nayakan’ sometime between the end of May and the first week of june 2025. Right after this, he will make a complete change in his political life and start actively campaigning in Tamil Nadu. This film is expected to ht theatres smoothly by 2026 despite elections.

Teaser Release Date

Meanwhile, the teaser of the film is expected to be released on the occasion of Vijay’s birthday on 22nd June 2025. Also, a new poster for the film may be released. However, there is no official confirmation from the makers or the actor on the matter yet. According to reports, Vijay may play the role of a former police officer in the film directed by H Vinoth. However, no one from the makers or inside the film has confirmed whether the actor will be playing a former police officer in the film.

Pooja and Vijay’s second film

The film, which is being composed by Anirudh Ravichander, also recently shot a dance sequence. The film will be Anirudh’s fifth film with Vijay after films like Kaththi, Master, Beast and Leo. ‘Jana Nayakan’ is reported to be an action-thriller that will also include some political angles. At the same time, this is Pooja’s second film with Vijay. Earlier, both these actors were seen together in the lead role in the 2022 film Beast, directed by Nelson Dilip Kumar.

Some time ago, the makers of the film officially unveiled it with a poster, which showed a burning torch in one hand. Furthermore, the makers had also revealed the lead cast of the film which includes Bobby Deol, Pooja Hegde, Mamita Baiju, Priyamani, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Prakash Raj and Narayan in pivotal roles.
