L2 Empuraan Controversy: Prithviraj’s mother reacts

L2 Empuraan Controversy: Controversies over the movie ‘L2 Empuraan’, which hit the screens on March 27, have become a hot topic. Mohanlal has already apologized after allegations were made that some scenes in it were objectionable. Recently, Empuraan director Prithviraj Sukumaran’s mother Mallika Sukumaran has reacted strongly to this controversy. She accused some people of trying to unfairly implicate her son in this controversy. She said that if anything went wrong, the entire unit would be at fault and questioned how her son alone could be held responsible.

What’s L2 Empuraan Controversy?

Controversy is rife over the movie L2: Empuraan starring Mohanlal and directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran. The movie, which was released on March 27, has created a record by collecting Rs 100 crore in two days. However, some scenes in the movie have been criticized. Many people, including the RSS, are criticizing it for containing scenes that offend Hindus. Hero Mohanlal has already apologized for this. Recently, director Prithviraj Sukumaran’s mother and actress Mallika has responded to this controversy. She said that they were deliberately trying to make her son a scapegoat.

Prithviraj’s mother reacts

“If you think there is any problem in the movie Empuraan, everyone should be responsible for it. They prepared a script that everyone agreed with. They shot the scenes based on that. Why are there objections now that no one had then? If there was a need to edit those scenes, writer Murali Gopi would have been ready for it. How can Prithviraj alone be responsible for this film that was made by everyone together? There is no truth in the news that some scenes were added to it without Mohanlal’s knowledge. He also saw the film. My son has never opposed anyone’s personal beliefs,” Mallika claimed

“I know exactly what happened behind the scenes of ‘Empuraan’. They are writing false articles accusing Prithviraj Sukumaran unfairly. I feel sad as a mother after seeing them. Some people are trying to make my son a scapegoat,” said Mallika.
