Actress Ranya Rao, who was caught by the police at the airport while illegally transporting gold from Dubai, has confessed to committing a crime for the first time. However, she explained that this is the first time she has smuggled gold. However, she clarified that she did not know how to hide gold. She learned gold smuggling by watching YouTube videos. However, when an unknown person called and gave her gold, she revealed that she had watched videos at the airport and bought the necessary items. With the help of them, she hid the gold on her body and committed smuggling.
Kannada actress Ranya Rao, who was caught red-handed by the police while bringing gold from Dubai. She is being questioned by the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence officials. It is reported that she revealed many things during the investigation. She also confessed to the crime. However, Ranya Rao reportedly told authorities that she had received phone calls from unknown individuals two weeks before the incident.
In particular, on March 1, Ranya Rao clarified that she received a call from a foreign number and was instructed to go to Gate A at Terminal 3 of Dubai Airport. She revealed that the gold was taken there and explained to her that it should be delivered to Bangalore. However, she clarified that she had never brought gold illegally from Dubai before. Moreover, Ranya Rao seems to have told the authorities that this was the first time she had smuggled it.
She also said that she had bought the bandages and scissors needed to hide the gold in two plastic covers at the airport. She then went to the bathroom and stuck the gold bars to her body and hid them in her jeans and shoes. However, Ranya Rao also stated in her statement that she learned all this by watching YouTube videos. However, she did not say who spoke to her on the phone. She said that she did not really know who it was. The actress said that when she heard Cami speak, it sounded like an African-American man.
However, after reaching Bangalore, she said that they also told her over the phone who to give the gold to. In particular, they explained that she should go out of the airport toll gate and go on the service road and put it in an auto and leave. Ranya explained that she has also been to Europe, Africa and America many times in the past.
