Lokesh Kanagaraj to Debut as Hero in Arun Matheswaran’s Film

Lokesh Kanagaraj Hero Debut: Despite Coolie’s poor outcome, Tamil star Lokesh Kanagaraj is still performing. He was slated to make his hero debut in Captain Miller’s renowned Arun Matheswaran’s film.

In addition to Coolie, Lokesh revealed a movie starring Aamir Khan and the eagerly anticipated Kaithi 2. However, Lokesh Kanagaraj’s roster underwent numerous modifications as a result of Coolie’s poor performance, and he reportedly wants to collaborate with Rajinikanth right away to produce a massive hit.

According to reports, he has three screenplays ready for the movie, and there was also speculation that Lokesh Kanagaraj would be starring in his first film. However, according to recent reports, the Kaithi director is becoming a hero in accordance with the plan.

Pooja ceremony for the gangster movie starring Arun Matheshwaran and Lokesh Kanagaraj has been done yesterday. For this movie, Lokesh also underwent a lot of training. He will work as the main character while simultaneously writing the screenplay for his next project.

Coolie Box Office Collections:

The movie had an incredible first day and the highest opening for a Tamil film ever, grossing ₹151 crores globally. A significant portion of this, ₹65 crores, came from Tamil Nadu and contributed to the Indian net amount. However, other states like Telangana and Andhra Pradesh have made significant contributions. With their strong openings, the Telugu and Hindi versions demonstrated a genuine pan-Indian film reach. It has also done well overseas, with North America debuting at 2.9 m$, making Coolie one of the biggest Tamil openers in the world.

Being released on a longer Independence Day weekend helped Coolie as well. With day two collections of ₹53.5 crores, the total amount collected in just two days surpassed ₹100 crores. However, compared to the day before, the Tamil version’s occupancy slightly decreased. There was a spike in the Hindi version, indicating some crossover success. By the conclusion of the third day, the movie had made ₹118.5 crore in India, guaranteeing an enjoyable getaway.
