Mammootty Returns: After a long gap of seven months, the Megastar Mammootty has finally returned to the movie sets. Mammootty was recently spotted at Chennai Airport, driving all by himself to the airport parking lot and catching a flight to Hyderabad to begin shooting. His reappearance marks the start of his work on Patriot, which is highly anticipated multi-starrer written and directed by Mahesh Narayanan.
Adding to the historical aspect of Patriot, it is also a reunion of the greatest and longest-affiliated pair in Malayalam cinema-Mammootty and Mohanlal. Mammootty and Mohanlal will be together on-screen in this movie, and they have not done anything like that in decades, and thus it is one of the hottest talking points amongst fans. Nayanthara, Fahadh Faasil, and Kunchacko Boban will also have considerably-sized roles in the film, and the cast is not short of a star-studded lineup.
The film features some of the finest talents in the industry. Noted Bollywood cinematographer Manush Nandan leads the visuals of the film, resulting in a rich cinematic atmosphere. Joseph Nellickal’s production design, Ranjith Ambadi’s makeup work, and costume design by Dhanya Balakrishnan add to the richness of the technical team. The overall depth of the technical team strengthens this ambitious project.
Patriot is made under the banner of Anto Joseph Film Company, with Anto Joseph as the producer along with co-producers C.R. Salim and Subhash George. Rajesh Krishna and C.V. Sarathi are executive producers for the project, with associate direction manager Linu Antony, and Phantom Praveen.
The film will be shot in multiple international and national locations, such as Sri Lanka, Abu Dhabi, Azerbaijan, Thailand, Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad, Delhi, and Kolli. The director ensures Mammootty’s comeback after an extended gap, along with the classic reunion with Mohanlal, makes Patriot one of the most anticipated movies in recent years. With an excellent cast and crew, expectations are running high.
