Mammootty’s Bazooka is releasing on April 10: Malayalam Megastar Mammootty is probably the only superstar in India who is busy doing back-to-back films. His passion for cinema is unparalleled. In addition to that, even at 73, he still looks much fitter than many other young actors and works tirelessly in multiple roles. Subsequently, He is all geared up to greet his fans again, with Bazooka hitting the screens on 10th April.

Bazooka marks the debut of Deeno Dennis as director. The story revolves around a cop and businessman joining to catch a serial killer. Furthermore, the rest of the story unravels the complex problems they encounter.

Mammootty’s recent films: Dominic and the Ladies’ Purse, a mystery-comedy drama flick, did well in the theatres and garnered recognition for its gripping plot. The film is all set to make its OTT entry.

Mammootty had a brilliant 2024 with Abraham Ozler, Bramayugam, and Turbo. Bramayugam received acclaim for its brilliant filmmaking. For instance, Kiran Rao, in a recent interview, applauded Bramayugam. “Even their horror films, like I saw a film called Bramayugam, a Mammootty film, incredibly artistically made using folk tales and the folklore of Kerala, and it’s a very different idea. There is a sense of conviction about telling stories that are different. And I think that’s what stands them in great stead,” Kiran Rao said.

Besides Mammootty, Bazooka has an ensemble cast of Gautham Vasudev Menon, Neeta Pillai, Divya Pillai, Iswarya Menon, Gayathiri Iyer, Bhama Arun, Sidharth Bharathan, and Shine Tom Chacko in significant roles.
