Mohanlal confirms ‘Drishyam 3′!

Malayalam superstar Mohanlal has officially confirmed that Drishyam 3 is coming. The fans are excited for the sequel of the popular thriller series.

The announcement was made through an official post on X where Mohanlal posted a picture with director Jeethu Joseph and producer Antony Perumbavoor.

He captioned the post as:

Drishyam 3 Confirmed!

Drishyam, first released in 2013, became a huge success due to its engaging storyline and powerful performances. The film revolves around Georgekutty, a common man who outsmarts the police to protect his family after an unfortunate incident. The film’s indulging narrative and suspenseful twists made it a blockbuster, leading to remakes in multiple languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and even went for international adaptations.

The sequel, Drishyam 2, released in 2021 which was well-received just like the first part. The story followed Georgekutty as he tried to keep his family safe while the past continued to haunt them. The film’s success made fans eager for another chapter, and now their wait is finally over.

Director Jeethu Joseph earlier gave a hint about a possible third part but had stated that he was still working on the story. With Mohanlal’s confirmation, it is now clear that Drishyam 3 is happening, though details about the plot and release date are yet to be revealed.
