2. Ponman

Ponmam is a dark comedy film directed by Jothish Shankar. The plot, which is set in Kollam, centers on Ajesh giving Steffi’s family 25 sovereigns of wealth so that she can marry Mariyano.

Only 13 sovereigns are repaid by the family after the wedding, though. A tense chase ensues after Ajesh demands the return of the remaining 12. The movie looks at issues like financial strain, dowries, and society’s ingrained fixation with gold. This film was released on March 14th. 3. Painkill

Painkill starring Anaswara Rajan, Lijo Jose Pellissery, Sajin Gopu, Riyaz Khan is a Rom-com film. The narrative centers on a young man who manages a modest store and lives a modest existence. Following a series of unfortunate events, he is compelled to obtain a fictitious mental health certificate in order to address his issues.

He encounters a fearless young lady along the way who is ready to run away from her family’s incessant pressure to be married. 4. Anpodu Kanmani

Amazon Prime’s comedy film “Anpodu Kanmani” starring with Arjun Ashokan, Anagha Narayanan, and Althaf Salim is a comedy film. A stone quarry worker named Nakulan and his new wife Shalini are the subject of the endearing comedy Anpodu Kanmani, which was directed by Lijo Thomas. The movie, which is set in a village in Kannur, Kerala, centers on a couple who attempt to strike a balance between their contemporary perspective and conventional family norms.
