Rajinikanth and Nagarjuna Remuneration:
The eagerly awaited film Coolie, starring Rajinikanth, is set for a theatrical release on August 14, 2025. The film, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, is expected to be one of the biggest Tamil releases of the year. With a production budget of Rs. 400 crore, Coolie is already creating a buzz, especially with its star-studded cast and substantial paychecks for the actors.

Rajinikanth and Nagarjuna Remuneration:

Rajinikanth, at the age of 72, has become one of Asia’s highest-paid actors, reportedly earning between Rs. 260-280 crore for his role in Coolie. This amount surpasses fees previously earned by top actors like Aamir Khan and Jackie Chan. Additionally, the film’s director, Lokesh Kanagaraj, is reportedly being paid Rs. 60 crore for his work on this high-budget project.

Nagarjuna Akkineni, another senior actor in the film, is reportedly charging Rs. 24 crore for his role. Other cast members, including Shruti Haasan, Sathyaraj, and Upendra Rao, are said to be receiving their usual pay, without any hike. Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan will also make a special cameo, reportedly earning Rs. 25-30 crore for his appearance.

Pooja Hegde, known for her recent hit Retro, will appear in a cameo in Coolie, earning around Rs. 2 crore for her role in a song. The film is produced by Sun Pictures, with music composed by Anirudh Ravichander.

To add to the excitement, the makers of Coolie have recently released a new promo to mark the 100-day countdown to its release. The promo showcases glimpses of the actors’ looks and has fueled anticipation among fans. The countdown message reads, “Arangam Adhirattume, Whistle Parakkattume #CoolieIn100Days #Coolie worldwide from August 14th.”

As Coolie nears its release, it has already made waves with its impressive budget and the star power attached to it. Fans eagerly await what promises to be one of the most significant film releases of the year.
