Rashmika Gets Emotional, Says My Parents Struggled to Pay Rent

Rashmika Mandanna gets emotional: Rashmika Mandanna is now one of the top actresses in the Indian film industry. She is known as the National Crush across the globe. She has gained immense popularity with her performances in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi films. With successful movies like Pushpa 2 and Chhava, Rashmika has become a sought-after actress. However her journey to success was not easy. In a past interview, Rashmika shared the hardships her family faced before she became a star.Rashmika was born in Virajpet. It is a small town in Karnataka. She was born to parents Suman Mandanna and Madan Mandanna. She comes from a middle class family and has often spoken about the financial struggles her parents faced. In her own words:


“During my childhood, my parents struggled a lot to pay the house rent. There were times when we found it difficult to manage even basic expenses.” Despite these challenges, Rashmika’s parents always supported her dreams. She started her career as a model before entering the film industry.

Rashmika Mandanna gets emotional: Rashmika made her acting debut in 2016 with the Kannada film Kirik Party. Her talent and hard work soon made her one of the leading actresses in South Indian cinema. She later entered the Telugu and Tamil film industries and gained nationwide recognition. Today Rashmika is a pan India star working alongside top actors in the industry.


She acknowledges her parents’ sacrifices and credits them for her success. She once shared: “My parents went through many difficulties to support my education and dreams. They always encouraged me, and their struggles made me stronger.”

Rashmika has often expressed her gratitude towards her parents. In an emotional Instagram post, she mentioned how her father’s love and support have shaped her life. “My dad has always been my biggest supporter. His words and encouragement keep me going every day.”
