Siva Karthikeyan’s Remuneration Demand For Trivikram’s Film Shocks Fans

Siva Karthikeyan’s Remuneration Demand For Trivikram’s Film Shocks Fans

Siva Karthikeyan’s Remuneration: Tamil actor Siva Karthikeyan is enjoying a successful phase in his career especially after the blockbuster response to his recent film Amaran. The movie performed well in both Tamil and Telugu states, boosting his popularity in the South Indian film industry. Amidst this success, there is now buzz around his potential debut in Telugu cinema. However recent developments suggest that his high remuneration expectations might have put a pause on those plans.

Siva Karthikeyan’s Remuneration:
According to a report ,renowned Telugu director Trivikram Srinivas had shown interest in casting Siva Karthikeyan for his next film. This idea came after Allu Arjun, who was supposed to work with Trivikram, committed to a different project with director Atlee. Looking for other options, Trivikram considered Siva Karthikeyan as a suitable lead, especially considering the latter’s growing popularity.

A meeting reportedly took place earlier this year in Chennai between Trivikram’s team and Siva Karthikeyan. During the discussion, Siva Karthikeyan expressed enthusiasm for working with Trivikram. However, he also demanded a hefty fee of Rs 70 crore for the project. This unexpected demand reportedly shocked Trivikram and his team. Given the high budget and financial risks, the director decided it would not be a feasible collaboration at this time.

As a result, Trivikram has temporarily put aside plans to work with Siva Karthikeyan. He is now focusing on developing a new script for veteran Telugu actor Venkatesh. However, this project is still in the early discussion stages and no final decisions have been made. Alongside this, Trivikram is also working on pre-production for a film with Allu Arjun, although no official announcements have been made yet.

Trivikram’s most recent release was Guntur Kaaram, starring Mahesh Babu, which hit theatres during Sankranthi 2024. The film received mixed reviews, and fans are curious to see what direction the director will take next.

Meanwhile, with top Telugu stars busy with their own projects, Trivikram may have to wait a while before locking in a new leading actor. Siva Karthikeyan’s demand clearly shows his confidence in his market value, especially after his recent success. However, it also highlights the challenges filmmakers face when balancing creative ambition with financial practicality.

For now, fans of both Siva Karthikeyan and Trivikram Srinivas are eagerly watching for updates. Whether this collaboration will happen in the future remains to be seen, but it has certainly created quite a buzz in the South Indian film industry.
