Sonia Agarwal’s Crime Thriller Gift: Acclaimed South Indian actress Sonia Agarwal, seen in Kaathal Kondain, 7G Rainbow Colony, Madurai, and Pudupettai, shines in the lead character of an upcoming crime investigation thriller “Gift”. The film has created waves amongst the audiences of Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada. The makers have formally announced a release date of October 31.
Gift is directed and penned by Pa Pandian and deals with the life of a rigorous police officer portrayed by Sonia Agarwal. After a successful career solving numerous cases, her character is now seeing a professional and personal crisis with the handling of a sexual assault case. The story revolves around how she navigates the turbulent waters of this difficult case seeking to balance justice with personal conviction. This role will show her intensity and versatility, promising an engaging cinematic experience for the audiences.
PP Cinemas produces the film, with Pa Pandian taking the lead production role, while Vadivelu and Kamalakannan work in a co-producer capacity. The cast also includes Birla Bose, Super Good Subramani, Crane Manohar, Shashi Ly, and Rekha, to strengthen the narrative.
