Suriya Daughter Diya: The Regency Theatre in California hosts the “Oscar qualifying run” screening. From September 26 to October 2, it will go on. Suriya and Jothika’s daughter Diya Suriya, who is not 17 years old, has followed her parents’ footsteps and entered the film industry. She is going to debut as a Director in the film Leading Light, produced by Suriya and Jothika under the 2D Entertainments banner.

The movie “is a powerful 13-minute documentary that uncovers the rarely told narratives of women gaffers in Mumbai’s Bollywood film industry,” according to regencymovies.com. It said, “The film documents the experiences of three trailblazing women who operate behind the camera in a setting where they are frequently the only women on set through close interviews.

About Suriya and Jothika Films:
Karuppa, which was directed by RJB, will include Suriya. Trisha, Indrans, Natty, Swasika, Sshivadha, Anagha Maya Ravi, and Supreeth Reddy are also featured in the movie. He also appears in Venky Atluri’s film Suriya 46. Radhika Sarathkumar, Raveena Tandon, and Mamitha Baiju are the film’s main actors.
Jyotika most recently acted in the movie Dabba Cartel, which tells the story of a gang of women who manage a narcotics cartel while posing as food delivery services. Anjali Anand, Nimisha Sajayan, Shabana Azmi, and Shalini Pandey also feature in the movie.
