Surya : In a recent conversation with a media , producer Gnanavel Raja revealed that he recently watched the first half and was taken away by film’s output . He also said that he is confident with film’s output and the film has a potential to gross more than Rs 2000 crores.

When the anchor questioned about film’s enormous budget ,He said, “I generally tell my heroes the flaws first and then talk about the merits after watching my films. But after watching Kanguva’s first half, I was taken aback and was amazed with the output of the film.”

Gnanavel Raja further said , “Whether it earns Rs 500 crore, or Rs 700 crore or Rs 1,000 crore, I will post the GST challan on social media. “I’m expecting Rs 2,000 crore, why are you stating less numbers?” Well we have to till November 14 .

It was reported that the film made pre-release business of over ₹500 crore from digital, audio, satellite and distribution rights, becoming the first Tamil film to do so .

Surya starrer Kanguva ,The Man with the Power of Fire is written and directed by Siva and  bankrolled by Studio Green and UV Creations with an estimated budget of Rs 300 – 350 crores.

The upcoming fantasy action film star Suriya Shivakumar in dual roles, with Bobby Deol, Disha Patani, Tollywood actor Jagapathi Babu, Natarajan Subramaniam, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Kovai Sarala, Anandaraj, and K. S. Ravikumar in important supporting roles. The film marks Bobby Deol’s Kollywood debut.

The film’s soundtrack and score is composed by  Tollywood music director Devi Sri Prasad, Makers released 94-second glimpse video revealing Suriya’s appearance from the periodic portions from the film , which garneed positive response from the audiences.

Initially Surya’s starrer was set to be released in 10 languages, including dubbed versions in Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi, English and other Indian languages but now the makers announced that the film will be released in 38 languages in November 14, 2024.
