Shocking news has been received about South’s famous actor and politician Thalapathy Vijay. According to reports, a complaint has been filed against actor Vijay in the Chennai Police Commissioner’s office. The actor is accused of insulting Muslims in the Iftar program. The complainant claims that there were drunkards and people in this Iftar, whose participation has disrespected the sanctity of this religious ritual.
The complainant says that even though Thalapathy Vijay organized this program to promote goodwill, it has hurt the Muslim community. Also, Vijay’s not expressing regret or apologizing even after this entire incident raises questions about his sensitivity and respect for religious sentiments.
According to News 18 reports, the complainant has accused the actor by giving many more examples. The actor is accused of disrespecting the people and appointing foreign security guards who are insensitive to the feelings of the local people. Now it is being emphasized that action should be taken against them so that such incidents do not happen again.
Along with this, the complainant has also clarified that he did not complain for publicity, but he wants to see respect and dignity in future events. Seeing him in this style, people also got confused and many types of rumors started spreading about him.
Thalapathy Vijay’s most recent film, “Jana Nayagan,” directed by H. Vinoth, is a political drama featuring Vijay, Pooja Hegde, and Bobby Deol. Scheduled for a January 2026 release, this movie marks Vijay’s final acting role before he transitions to a full-time political career.
