South Superstar: L2: Empuraan is a self-directed film produced by Prithviraj Sukumaran, starring senior Malayalam hero Mohanlal in the lead role. It is a sequel to the 2019 Mollywood industry record-breaking movie ‘Lucifer’. The film, which is a political action thriller, is set to have a grand release on March 27. Dil Raju is releasing the film in Telugu. Prithviraj, who participated in an interview as part of the promotions, shared some interesting things.

Malayalam hero Prithviraj Sukumaran is well-known to Telugu audiences. He has also done a Telugu movie called ‘Police Police’ in 2010. However, for some reason, he did not do films in Tollywood again. But he kept on greeting the Telugu audience with dubbed films from time to time. In this sequence, he came forward to the Telugu audience after almost 14 years with the movie ‘Salaar’. Prithviraj, who is currently acting in the movie ‘SSMB 29’ is now coming with the movie ‘L2: Empuraan’. Prithviraj Sukumaran, who participated in an interview as part of the promotions of ‘Lucifer 2: Empuraan’, said that if you look at it financially, directing was a stupid idea that he took. He said that he worked for this movie for about two years. During this gap, he had to put aside many film offers. He said that if he had acted in those films, he would have received a huge remuneration. Prithviraj revealed that actors, like everyone else, also face financial difficulties and that he too has a car EMI.

Movie fans are surprised that a star hero like Prithviraj Sukumaran, who takes remuneration in crores for each film, is still paying car EMIs. It seems from what Prithviraj says that even heroes who receive remuneration in crores and lead a luxurious life have financial problems. When asked, have you done any films just for money? Prithviraj said that he did not do films for money, but did commercial ads.

If I shoot for 2 hours, I would be given a huge amount of money. That’s why I used to say okay to ads. But I am very careful in the selection of brands that I promote. I do not agree to act in those brand products if I do not believe in them. Prithviraj Sukumaran said that he will promote only those brands that do not cause any harm to the society. He said that his father Sukumaran Nair had many dreams of directing, but he died without fulfilling them. Prithviraj revealed that it hurts him a lot that he is not there to see his success. Prithvi said that it is his desire to do a film with Rajinikanth and that he already has an idea for him. He said that he will think about the film with Rajinikanth once the script is ready.
