Unni Mukundan broke the good news in a tearful Instagram post, declaring his decades-long interest in superhero tales. “The child in me grew up growing up with myths,” he wrote, remembering how courage, sacrifice, and magic had left such a huge impression on his imaginations. Myths formed his imaginations, and now he is going to bring them onto the screen with a project close to his heart for all these years.
Superheroes, he stated, have inspired him throughout his life and drove his dreams. His desire to bring larger-than-life characters to life is now materializing in his maiden directorial project.
Directed by Sree Gokulam Movies’ Gokulam Gopalan, the new film will have a script by Maverick Midhun Manuel Thomas. Co-producers V C Praveen and Baiju Gopalan, and executive producer Krishnettan, are likely to provide the venture with the best production quality.
As shooting starts next year, the movie will be released in different Indian languages so that it reaches all over areas of a large number of people. But as a director, first, he will finish his current Telugu project.
