Nayanam OTT Release:
Nayanam is a new Telugu psychological series featuring Varun Sandesh in the lead role. The show has created curiosity because of its unusual plot and intense characters. Viewers who enjoy dark thrillers are now waiting for its digital premiere.
The series will start streaming on ZEE5 from December 19, 2025. The update was shared by the platform along with the trailer, which introduced audiences to the disturbing world of Dr. Nayan. With this release, viewers can watch the show from home and follow the twists in each episode.
Nayanam runs for six episodes and focuses on Dr. Nayan, an ophthalmologist who is brilliant but morally broken. He secretly performs illegal experiments that allow him to see the hidden lives of people around him. What begins as scientific interest slowly turns into a dangerous obsession.
As Dr. Nayan crosses ethical limits, strange events start happening around him. The series explores how curiosity can turn into darkness and how one person’s choices can destroy many lives. It also raises an important question: How far should someone go in the name of discovering the truth?
Varun Sandesh plays the challenging role of Dr. Nayan, while Priyanka Jain appears as one of the key characters. The supporting cast includes Uttej, Ali Reza, Rekha Nirosha, and Harish.
The series is directed by Swathi Prakash Mantripragada, with the screenplay written by Kalyan Kagitapu. The technical team includes Ajay Arasada for music, Shoeb Siddiqui for cinematography, and Venkata Krishna Chikkala as the editor.
Varun Sandesh recently shared that this has been one of the toughest roles of his career because the character is intelligent, emotional, and deeply flawed at the same time.
Before Nayanam, Varun was seen in the crime drama Constable, released in October 2025. He is also working on upcoming projects like Yadbhaavam Tadbhavati.
